Great British Menu presenter Andy Oliver will explore the stories and science behind the favorite food in his new podcast on BBC Radio 4.
He will be hosting the weekly show titled TV Star and Chef One Dish. His guests will include comedian Phil Wang and The Great British Bake Off semifinalist Briony May Williams.
Oliver will ask her guests to say which dish is of special importance to them. She will then reveal the secrets of that dish, explaining how it came into existence and why it is so loved.
She will discuss soda bread with Williams, Wat Tan Hor with Wang as well as lasagne with Drag Race UK star Cheryl Hole.
Similarly, the series will also see Discovery Schnitzel with comedian Jessica Fosteque, Carrot Cake with writer Benjamina Ebuhi, Fish Pie with author Ixta Belfrez and Biryani with writer Poorna Bell.
Oliver said: “The foods we love say a lot about who we are.
“The simple act of remembering a favorite food connects us to deeply personal memories.
“There are some amazing stories behind the recipes that hold a special place in our hearts.
“I look forward to learning more about our guests and the One Dish they love.”

The weekly show will feature Oliver and his guests enjoying the dish and give listeners top tips on making a version of themselves.
Nutrition psychologist and former The Great British Bake Off star Kimberly Wilson will also join a podcast providing scientific insights.
