The Cemetery Department of the Sagunto City Council announces that, as usual every year at this time, the municipal cemeteries of Sagunto and Puerto de Sagunto will extend their hours on the occasion of the holiday of the Saints, as explained by the councilor. Health and Consumer Affairs, Javier Timón. Therefore, starting this Saturday, October 28 and until November 1, both cemeteries will remain open from 8 am to 6 pm. In addition to this, throughout the day of this important day dedicated to the dead, there will be free bus lines in the two population centers.
Javier Timón added: «We have extended the opening hours of the two cemeteries, we will provide a free bus service and a Local Police operation will be established with the aim that the day will pass with complete normality.
The bus service will run from 9 am to 6:30 pm, stopping the service from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm for the mandatory rest of the vehicle and its staff , on November 1, 2023, All Saints Day.
In Sagunto, departures to the cemetery come from the asylum and travel along Teruel Street and Camà Reial to the cemetery, return trips travel through Calle de los Huertos and Plaza Cronista Chabret. In Puerto de Sagunto, the itinerary starts from the cemetery itself to carry out its route, passing Alfredo Simón, Mediterráneo, 9 d’Octubre, Hispanidad and AzorÃn street until returning to the starting point.
On the same day there will be masses in the Sagunto cemetery at 12 noon and in Puerto de Sagunto at 4 in the afternoon.
