During his presentation, the Lic. Ramos Jiménez Issues of importance to regional justice are addressed. One of the issues highlighted is the worrying perception that victims are treated as criminals, while criminals are often treated as victims. This problem poses a great challenge to the justice system.
Likewise, the urgent need to improve the attention given to officials was noted, especially the prosecutors assigned to Playas de Tijuana and La Mesa. It is emphasized that the treatment provided by lawyers and defendants does not live up to expectations.
A critical aspect addressed in the session is the lack of professionalism on the part of medical legal experts.
