Li said the two countries should firmly support each other on issues of mutual core interest, including national sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.

Seeking to achieve high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, China will work with Uzbekistan to expand and improve economic, trade, and investment cooperation, promote strong infrastructure connectivity and soft technology connectivity, and establish norms and standards, tapping into the potential of green cooperation. of new energy and strengthening exchanges and collaborations in culture, education, and tourism, Li added.

For his part, Mirziyoyev noted that Uzbekistan values ​​its relations with China and appreciates China’s support for Uzbekistan’s efforts to protect its sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.

Uzbekistan adamantly adheres to the one-China principle and firmly works with China to fight the “three forces” of terrorism, separatism, and extremism, Mirziyoyev added.

Uzbekistan is ready to deepen bilateral cooperation in the economy, trade, investment, agriculture, finance, production capacity, infrastructure construction, connectivity, and people-to-people exchanges, Mirziyoyev said, adding that his country welcomes many companies in China to invest and do business. in Uzbekistan, where a stable business environment will be provided.
