The Cuban baseball team announced for the Pan American Games in Chile

The majority of those called up also participated in the Centrocaribes in San Salvador, where the Cuban team came out silver, and in the recently concluded Caribbean Cup, they won undefeated in Puerto Rico.

Yurisbel Gracial, Roel Santos, Yoelkis Guibert, and Luis González were chosen to protect the gardens.

The pitching corps includes Geonel Gutierrez, Carlos Juan Viera, Yoennis Yera, Jose Ramon Rodriguez, Yankiel Mauris, Renner Rivero, Jonathan Carbo, Naykel Cruz, Raymond Figueredo, Erly Casanova, and Frank Abel Alvarez.

Cuba will be looking for the title it won last time in the 2007 Rio de Janeiro edition.

Without Puerto Rico, champion of Lima-2019, Canada, and the United States, world baseball powers, the main opponents of the Cubans are Mexico, king of the last games in Central America and the Caribbean, Colombia, Venezuela, and the Dominican Republic.
