The driver kidnapped at the target is saved with an ingenious move to attract help

The man from Florida managed to save himself from a frightening situation with a little quick thinking and additional pressure on the gas pedal.

The man, whose name was not released, was described in a statement by the sheriff of Martin County as a dog breeder from Port St. Lucy who “boasted” on the net that he had a lot of money on hand. Internet bragging caught the attention of three men in their 20s who “presented themselves as interested dog buyers” and then showed up at the man’s house to rob, attack and eventually kidnap him, according to the sheriff’s office.

The trio broke into the victim’s home on June 16, “searching the residence” in search of cash before asking for more information about the lucrative puppies raised by the man, according to a report from the Port of Port Police, obtained by The Washington Post.

When the breeder said that the puppies were not in the premises, but in his aunt’s house in Fort Lauderdale, three men forced him to start driving there under the threat of a gun, the report states.

Along the way, the dog breeder devised a plan to escape. He started driving 15 miles above the speed limit, hoping to stop him on an overpass he knew police usually patrolled.

After the man was withdrawn, Deputy County Governor Martin Cameron White noticed that something was wrong. First of all, the driver had an obvious “look of despair”, according to the sheriff. He also found it strange that the driver did not seem to want to get back in the car after White released him with a warning and was twice told he was free to go.

“But as he was leaving, he put his hands behind his back and made a gesture as if he were shooting from a gun facing down, and that made my hair stand on end,” White told the local VPTV news station.

At that moment, White told him to get away from the car and called for help.
“We’re like, ‘Hey, what was that?'” White said. “He said, ‘These guys in the car are holding me hostage. There are weapons in the car and I need help. “

The three men were arrested on a number of charges, including kidnapping, assault and invasion of a house.
