A rare collision between a car and a bull happened this Sunday night on Federal Highway 185. After the accident, the animal died on the spot, while the driver of the car suffered minor injuries.
According to the police report, the road accident happened on the Juchitán-Tehuantepec highway section, at the junction of the air base. In that area, the driver of a car was traveling and brutally collided with a bull that crossed the dark area.
“The uniformed officers of the municipality reported that when they arrived at the place, they saw a private car, Nissan brand, sub-brand Sentra, blue in color, with plates from the State of Chiapas (DPZ- 655-D), which showed great material damage as a result of the strong impact he had on a cow that crossed his path, when he was traveling in the aforementioned section” (Sic.), says the police report.
After the strong collision, the animal died instantly, while the windshield and hood of the car were broken. In addition, the driver sustained injuries, although they were not serious.
Immediately, motorists passing by the area reported the incident to the authorities.
A few moments later, paramedics, municipal police, state highway, and National Guard personnel arrived at the scene for corresponding support. Lifeguards gave first aid to the driver, and uniformed officers protected and facilitated traffic in one lane.
Finally, the authorities took charge of the situation and initiated an expert report to determine the responsibilities. It is important to emphasize that this part of the road is dangerous because it crosses a lot of cattle and, often without proper care, invades the road, resulting in a real danger for those who travel on it.
