The eurozone unemployment rate fell to 6.5% in March

Spain remains at the top of unemployment in the European Union, with 12.8%, as well as youth unemployment, with 29.5%, compared to 14.3% for the Twenty-seven.

12.96 million people were unemployed in the European Union in March, of which 11.01 million were in the euro area.

The government plans to create 1 million jobs in three years and maintain its growth forecast for 2023 at 2.1%.

There unemployment rate in the euro area stopped last month in March at 6.5%a a tenth less than the previous month and it is the lowest level in the entire historical series according to data published by Eurostat, the Community statistical office.
