Users of X, formerly Twitter, criticized the position of the Israeli government and pointed out that it uses the role of “victim” to mobilize people.
The Israeli government has denounced the activist climate in Sweden, Greta Thunberg, for his last message on X, formerly Twitter, on X’s support for the Palestinian population, and he has humiliated what Hamas says: “It doesn’t use sustainable materials for its rockets.”
“Week 270. Today we express our solidarity with Palestine and Gaza. The world must speak out and call for an immediate ceasefire and freedom for the Palestinians and all affected civilians. #FreePalestine #IStandWithPalestine #WeStandWithGaza,” Thunberg said in the message.
The text is accompanied by a photo in which Thunberg herself appears holding a sign whose motto is “We stand with Gaza” Three other people showed up with signs that read “Free Palestine”, “Climate justice today!” and “This Jew belongs to Palestine.”
.@GretaThunberg, Hamas doesn’t use sustainable materials for their rockets which have BUTCHERED innocent Israelis .

Because of this, the Government of Israel responded from its official account to X: “Greta Thunberg, Hamas does not use sustainable materials for rockets that massacre innocent Israelis. The victims of the Hamas massacre could be your friends. Speaking”. The message included three photos of two women and a 19-year-old man killed in a Hamas attack.
Other users of the social network emphasized that Thunberg supported the Palestinians, not Hamas, and also mocked Israel for “playing the victim card.”
However, other voices, such as that of the anti-Semitism commissioner of the German state of Baden-Württemberg, Michael Blume, criticized Thunberg’s message as “dualistic, false, and trivializing terrorism.” In addition, Blume criticized the “widespread anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism” of the “Fridays for Future” movement led by Thunberg.
