The governor of Baja California strengthened the delivery of the Violet Card

To strengthen the strategy of care for Baja California women, the Governor of Baja California, Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda led the delivery event of 1,700 Violet Cards in the facilities of the Sustainable Mobility Institute (IMOS) in the city of Tijuana, which aims to improve the quality of life of female heads of families and their loved ones.

He explained that the Violet Card contains, among other things, a financial support of two thousand 600 pesos every two months for single mothers with daughters or sons of school age.

In his message to the beneficiaries, the head of the State Executive Branch thanked the women for the work they do to help their families without a schedule and with the desire that their daughters and sons come first.

“So the Violet Card is not the only money we can offer them, but also the opportunity we give them so they can finish their educations the governor.

Recognition

Avila Olmeda issued recognition to the Ministry of Welfare staff that works every day “With the Heart of Ahead” so that the 20 support available to the State Government reaches those who need it most in all the neighborhoods of Baja California.

The Secretary of Welfare, Netzahualcóyotl Jáuregui Santillan reiterated that the Violet Card includes facilitation activities for women, so train them in artistic activities and other trades which allows them greater social and economic freedom, as well as greater opportunities to improve their quality of life.

“We always aim to prioritize the most vulnerable areas. It is important to mention that a socioeconomic study is always carried out and each of these situations is analyzed,” said the state official.
