In the afternoon of this Friday, October 27, Tarek William Saab, attorney general appointed by the defunct ANC, published summons circulars for the members of the National Primary Commission “as being investigated.”
Through his X account (formerly Twitter), Saab reported the summoning of Jesús María Casal, Mildred Camero and Roberto Abdul-Hadi Casanova.

During an interview given by EVTV, Mundaray said: “That is an abomination from a legal point of view. Ballots lack everything built into the legal system.
In this regard, Mundaray explained that article 126 of the Organic Code of Criminal Procedure (COPP) establishes that, if a person is named as an accused, the summons “must say that you are accused” and that the number of “investigated does not exist. “in COPP.
“Since 2008 there is a mandatory circular of the Public Ministry, which must be stated if you are an accused, witness, victim or expert. “That is mandatory to provide legal security,” he added.
Likewise, he indicated that if a person is accused, the circular should state that the aforementioned “must be accompanied by former sworn lawyers of his trust.”
“There is no investigation here. There must be a logical interference with responsibility. The only way for me to tell you that you are a participant in a crime is to have a first investigation,” he said.

Political persecution
