The workshop for making this typical dessert was started this Saturday morning at II Fraga Coc Festivalwith an event with the participation of about 50 people and a good public attendance. The Dones de Fraga housewives association led the workshop that was held at the MarĂa Moliner school in Fragatine city.
In the afternoon, the central event of this edition arrived, the exhibition and tasting, where 2,000 cooking servings -there are 500 more than the first edition- accompanied by mistela. This session has the participation of various fragatina associations, a gastronomic market of traditional products and the presence of giant groups in Fraga and Torregrossa (Lérida).
The mayor of Fraga, Ignacio GramĂşn, appreciated the “very positive good atmosphere created by this initiative which, despite only being in its second edition, consolidated in the city”.


“The Coc de Fraga Festival highlights our roots and our traditions through something as unique as this. this typical dessert”added GramĂşn, who thanked” the collaboration of the associations involved in the event and all the neighbors and visitors who came to MarĂa Moliner and the Juan Carlos I gardens.
