The Jeux Urbans festival is a sight to behold. elementary School

From Thursday, March 23 to Saturday, March 25, there is a great reason to visit Montreal, as the Eaton Center hosts the Jeux Urbani. Sponsored in part by Georges St-Pierre and presented by XP_MTL, the event will host a showcase of world-class talent in sports and activities across all disciplines. The festival will include music, opportunities to experience different types of these emerging sports, including rock (along with the decathlon), making its impact felt around the world. Most importantly, training in these sports will allow dedicated athletes to earn exposure for their talents. Jean-François Daviau, Collectif DEMENS President said: “The city has become a major center for the creation of many new sports and new disciplines. Many high-level athletes train in relative obscurity and only train in front of special audiences. The public once every four years. Unfortunately, we notice that many people from sports retired professionals in the pandemic, so we want to reign in their interest and help them less in the conventional fields on the day of the festival.

The program of competitions and demonstrations includes the disciplines of BMX, freestyle soccer, competitive sports (Olympic wrestling, boxing, karate, judo, taekwondo and training), hip-hop dancing, breaking, popping, walking, and juggling. .

On April 23rd and 24th, athletes from Canada, the United States and Latin America in the BMX class will compete in Montreal to compete as part of a friendly competition. This is an opportunity to see John William Prevost in action.

Freestyle soccer will be available from March 24-25 and will be a mixed competition in partnership with the World Freestyle Soccer Association. Athletes from Canada, the United States, Guatemala, France and Venezuela include six-day world champion Melody Tonchett and 13-time Guinness world record holder Laura Piondo.

The War Games will take place on March 25th with a chance to see GSP. This section is organized in collaboration with the Regroupment des Sports de Combat de Quebec (presents karate, wrestling, boxing, taekwondo, judo and fencing federations). The best wrestlers from Quebec, Canada and around the world will compete in friendly state tournaments. Sponsored by Georges St-Pierre, this part of the event will welcome guests throughout the tournament.

During this three-day event, DJ Vinny Bombay will provide music while attendees will enjoy free sports activities in the interactive zone. Bowling, basketball programs and outstanding sports for athletes will be offered free of charge in the interactive area. It is worth raising awareness in the public about the importance of physical fitness.
