In collaboration with the association that brings together the ambassadors of Italian pastry excellence (APEI), the shipping company will continue its mission of introducing the best pastry art to the world aboard Costa Toscana and Costa Fascinosa.
The first Massari tells Iginio that the event will take place on the 9th of June on the flagship day of the Costa Toscana. Iginio Massari and other APEI teachers will be on board, offering guests daily workshops dedicated to pastry work. On the tour you will discover the personal and professional history of Maestro Massari, through the opportunity to taste some of his emblematic desserts.
Sailing for a week through the Mediterranean Sea, starting from Genoa, the cruise will visit some of the most beautiful places between Italy, France and Spain, such as Marseille, Barcelona, ​​Carlisle, Naples and Rome.
The guests will decide for the best panettone

The second event scheduled for 2023 is the new edition of Panettone senza confini, Panettone without borders. From October 21st to 31st, Costa Fascinosa will host a challenge dedicated to the most representative Italian table, in which 15 bakers from all over the world will compete. The 10-day itinerary, with departure and arrival at the Saône, will include Marseille, Malaga, Cadiz, Lisbon, Gibraltar and Valencia.
The cruise, a tribute to one of the most famous crafts in the world, will allow guests to taste panettone in various ways, traditional and chocolate, in the form of ice cream and dessert dishes.
In addition, cruise guests will also be the protagonists of the challenge, as they will be invited to vote for the best Panettone Chocolate. On its part, the best traditional panettone will be chosen by a jury of APEI teachers, president Iginio Massari.
