As reported by the Superior Court of Justice of Madrid (TSJM), DHFC, a 43-year-old Pakistani, was arrested on February 24, 2023, and accused of a crime of damages.
He has a conviction for assault
According to sources close to the investigation, the arrested person rented a room in the house of the deceased and attacked Amelia with a hammer. The neighbors allege that the brothers owed him 60,000 euros.
Due to these events, the Court of First Instance and Instruction No. 3 of Arganda del Rey ordered the entry of a temporary prison without the possibility of bailing the murderer, a decision that was later confirmed by the Provincial Court of Madrid, as reported on Monday by the Superior Court of Justice.
After the investigation, the case reached Criminal Court number 2 in Alcalá de Henares. On February 12, the accused was sentenced to two years in prison, and he was prohibited from approaching or talking to the victim at a distance of less than 500 meters for two and a half years.
When the sentence was over, the defense presented a request for a suspended prison sentence, which was not challenged by any party because, due to the lack of a criminal record and the agreement to pay the civil obligations of 2,900 euros declared in the sentence, he met the legal requirements for granting the suspension, so it was given.
The Court granted him this suspension on the condition that he refrain from committing crimes for two years and six months and that he pay the victim.
Contradictions in the killer’s story
Early in the morning, the DHFC surrendered to the offices of the Civil Guard in Arganda del Rey and admitted to being involved in the triple murder of Amelia, Ángele and Pepe, 70 years old. However, sources close to this statement admitted that the arrest gives a vague account of events.
The main hypothesis considered by homicide investigators is that relatives may have had a dispute over a debt owed to some acquaintances. The siblings would have been victims of a love scam, they would have gone bankrupt and would have to repeatedly ask their relatives and neighbors for money.
The aforementioned source indicated that the man is currently being held at the Rivas-Vaciamadrid military barracks, where he is accused of premeditated murder. This afternoon, it is expected that members of the National Guard will check the home of the arrested in Arganda del Rey as part of the investigation of what is called Operation Calvario.
