The most expensive electric car in the world

Its value reaches stratospheric levels, which exceeds almost all combustion cars. I found it here at TORK!

It is true that growth must be large enough to sustain mobility. There are already many countries that are committing to sustainable energy and one that stands out is electricity. It is curious that in addition to cars designed for the common denominator of people, there is also a large variety of 100% electric cars designed for competition.

It happens that if there is anything that gives a certain type of propulsion, it is instantaneous speed. This energy has the ability to send all the torque produced directly to the wheels, close to where their engines are usually located – and thus achieve exceptional acceleration. It was said by those who could feel it… “it’s like being launched from a rocket”.

Another characteristic is that, with this capability, electric cars do not need aerodynamic bodies or large sports cars to show their potential. That is why we see models such as the Tesla Model S Plaid or Lucid Air Sapphire, which can reach 0 to 100 km in less than 3 seconds.

However, less well known is the market for electric hypercars, which are worth more than a million. Perhaps the most famous example is the Rimac refrigerator, but this time we will show you the Aspark Owl that costs the same as a Bugatti Chiron and a LaFerrari together.

It is undoubtedly more exclusive than these rivals, due to the fact that the firm of Chinese origin has limited production to only 50 units, which means that its retail price is further appreciated. Its engines are powered by a 64 kWh lithium-ion battery, which gives the normal driving style a maximum range of about 450 kilometers, although Aspark is already working on a larger capacity battery.

Specifications

It is not only the most expensive vehicle in its class, but it is also the fastest electric car in the world. The Chinese hypercar is powered by four powerful engines that generate a maximum power of 2012 hp, which together with the immediate delivery of 2,000 Nm of torque allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.69 seconds (formula 1 does. in 2.5 seconds), and 300 km/h in just over 10 seconds. Its top speed is limited to 400 km/h.

Price

It is worth no less than 3.6 million dollars. This places it ahead of cars like the Bugatti Chiron, which was launched at a price of 2.4 million coins or the Ferrari LaFerrari, which cost 1.3 million coins. As time goes on, it wouldn’t be unusual to see the Aspark resale electric car for close to 4 million dollars.
