The girl Isabel Paola Aizpurua Castillo10 years old, killed on Monday afternoon, October 9, inside the bathroom of the neighbor’s house in the neighborhood of Edgar Ramón Uzcátegui in the sector of Haticos, south of Maracaibo.
According to police sources, Aizpurua’s relatives pointed out Luis Herrera López65-year-old Colombian, if he is alleged murderer of a minor.
“His father allowed him to go out with him (Herrera) because he was told that they were going to look for copper and this is a lie, this is the killing of the little girl,” the minor’s maternal grandmother, Ana Castillo, criticized on October 10, from Forensic Medicine.
The girl, who is the third of four siblings, died due to strangulation and the Cicpc is investigating whether she is a victim of sexual abuse.
Isabella Paola lives in a small ranch with her parents and siblings. When the crime happened, his mother, Guylmery Castillo, was selling coffee at Mercado del Sur, known as Mercamara.
“My daughter went to work selling coffee and they stayed with their father at home. That man asked his father’s permission in the morning to accompany him to look for the money,” insisted Castillo.
Isabel Paola’s relatives started looking for her in the afternoon and they entered Herrera’s house. The 15 and 14-year-old siblings found the body in the bathroom.
“He punched me, he mistreated me. His face was swollen from being punched. The siblings said that he is purple,” said the victim’s grandmother while crying.
Castillo said the man became a friend of his daughter’s family and that the neighbors saw him leaving his house with a fan. “I want them to get it,” he said.
Isabella Paola studies in the fifth grade at Francisco Ochoa National Basic School, in the sector of Los Haticos. On December 3 he will be 11 years old.
Security agencies launched an operation to locate Herrera. Her neighbors claimed that she was imprisoned in Colombia for similar crimes, said the woman’s grandmother.
