14th edition of the 48h Open House Barcelona
The 14th edition of the 48h Open House Barcelona Architecture Festival focuses this year on building to discovering fragments of the city’s rich and complex architectural collage: windows, balconies, hallways, furniture, etc. In addition, the festival joins the celebration of the 18th edition of Barcelona Design Week and its global initiative to promote SDG goal number 18, which considers design as an important element for the present and the future of man.
The festival offers people interested in architecture the possibility to see 128 buildings in the city, with free admission and open to everyone. The waiting time to access each building varies depending on the size of each space and the number of people who want to enter. For this reason, the festival website has made available to the public a map that shows, in real-time, the spaces with the most and least influx of people.
