The Palestinian leader accused Israel of promoting a war of extermination

During the weekly meeting of the cabinet, which was held in this city, the official criticized the killing of more than three thousand minors due to the bombing against the enclave.

This criminal war must stop immediately and similar safe corridors must be opened to allow the entry of food, medicine and fuel that will help our people, he stated.

Shtayyeh emphasized that minors and women represent more than half of the people killed in the territory since the start of the Israeli aggression, on October 7, which was initiated in response to the Hamas attack.

“In Gaza, children die in the hands of their fathers, in the wombs of their mothers, premature babies die in incubators that don’t work because of power cuts,” he stressed.

The head of the Government emphasized that operations in hospitals are carried out without anesthesia because of the same problem, while hospital patios are full of injured and lost people.

Because of this desolate panorama, we demand the immediate end of this aggression and the entry of essential products into Gaza, he stressed.

Shtayyeh praised the “positions of countries, governments and people who stood by the values of law and justice in the United Nations General Assembly” in voting for a humanitarian truce.

Without mentioning names, he called on those in the world who “promote the war of genocide” to change their position.

We urge countries to stand by human values and laws and not the wrong direction of history, he said.

He also reiterated his rejection of Israel’s plans to move millions of Palestinians from the territory.

“Our people will win and the job will go away, despite the bleeding wounds and pain of suffering, injustice and darkness,” he said.
