The 3,010 voting centers with 5,134 tables will be set up at 7:00 am on Sunday and open at 8:00 am.
The National Primary Commission (CNP) offered this Friday an assessment of the process 48 hours before the election where the unitary presidential candidacy of the opposition will be chosen this Sunday, October 22.
“The call is for us to be part of this great democratic day. We are in the time of the citizens. Let’s go out and use our right to vote,” said the president of the CNP, Jesús María Casal.
The 3,010 voting centers with 5,134 tables will be set up at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday and from 8:00 a.m. they will be opened so that voters can exercise their right to vote, said CNP member Roberto Abdul . “Voting stations are open until 4:00 p.m., unless there are voters in the queue,” he said.
Abdul reported that for more than a week the electoral material has been distributed to all municipalities and this Friday the credentials of the members of the polling station have been given to all political organizations and the campaign commands of the 10 pre-candidates.
“On the basis of almost 60 thousand volunteers, about 33 thousand people were trained in more than 300 cities and 850 parishes to have national coverage in all centers and all voting stations ,” he explained.
Regarding the vote of Venezuelans abroad, Ismael Pérez Vigil reiterated that the vote was suspended in Tel Aviv, due to the conflict that Israel is going through, and in the cities of Buenos Aires and Córdoba, because it coincides with the presidential election in Argentina.
“The elections will be held in 28 countries and 77 cities. We have 84 voting centers and 803 tables, where 396,818 voters can vote,” he explained.
