We inform you that the degradation of the payment service at the last hour, which is exclusively linked to the internal lines of communication, has been resolved,” explained Redsys on the X social network.
The incident affected ATMs, card machines, payment shops or Bizum services. Many users have warned about this problem through social networks and some financial institutions have informed their clients of the problem.
The DownDetector website, which analyzes the losses of various online services, has reported problems since this morning with Visa, BBVA, Sabadell, Caixabak, Santander, INGDirect or Unicaja, among others.
Around 3:00 p.m., Bizum also announced that its services have been restored: “A widespread payment processing incident has affected Bizum’s operations and you may not be able to use our services normally. We inform you that all services are now fully restored. Thank you very much, bizumer.”
