The Minister of Education, Culture, and Sports, Amador Pastor, shows that this offer is once again the highest and confirms the commitment obtained by the regional government and a significant part of the union organizations to reverse the cuts and continuously improve the working conditions of the faculty.
Amador Pastor recalls that, since Emiliano García-Page was the head of the government of Castilla-La Mancha, a total of 5,947 places were announced without counting the call for 2024, compared to only 548 of María Dolores de Cospedal.
The Government of Castilla-La Mancha has proposed to the Education Sector Board a public teaching job offer for the Teacher Corps of 1,133 places, 133 more than expected. This was stated by the Minister of Education, Culture, and Sports, Amador Pastor, in a press conference held by the Ministry moments before the meeting.
In his speech, the advisor pointed out that this offer has reached the highest level, “reached 120 percent of the replacement rate,” and confirmed the commitment obtained by the regional governments of the UGT and ANPE to reverse the cuts and continue to improve the working conditions of teachers.
Similarly, Amador Pastor recalled that, since Emiliano García-Page headed the Government of Castilla-La Mancha, a total of 5,947 places were called without counting the call for 2024, compared to over 548 from the period of María Dolores de Cospedal.
The advisor also announced that it is planned to publish the call for the process on January 30 and determined that, from the next day until February 19, the applicants will formalize their entry into a procedure that will begin at the end of June.

On the other hand, the Minister of Education, Culture, and Sports, Amador Pastor, took the opportunity to explain to the public that the interpretation made by the Baccalaureate Education Decree, which is currently in the process of being revised, is wrong. “The Ministry intends that the offer of elective music will continue and be maintained in any Baccalaureate class and will not disappear as it is said,” he said.
