In recent years, the popular animated series ‘The Simpsons’ has been an ‘oracle’ to the world due to some predictions they made, which finally came true. In this series, they predicted that Donald Trump would be president of the United States, and Germany would win the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, among others.
Matt Groening, the creator of this series, has said in the past that when giving these predictions, “we think of the most ridiculous, imaginative or impossible … and then it happens”.
For 2023 there are other predictions made by “The Simpsons”, some of which have come true, while others have not. However, people are waiting for what might happen in the world for the rest of the year.
One of his predictions is that World War III would break out this year. A prediction that has already come true, however, is linked to the singer Bad Bunny. There was an episode in the series where the artist from Puerto Rico throws Homer’s cell phone on the floor. This reminded me of the case where Bad Bunny threw his phone at a fan who asked for a photo.
The remaining predictions
As for the remaining predictions for 2023, The Simpsons predicted that the world’s first flying car would be released this year. This could come true since the Chinese company Xpeng Aeroht has designed a car that can be driven on the ground and in the air.
In addition to this, there was an episode in season 6 where Homer and Marge virtually eat with augmented reality goggles and a probe. This is about to become a reality today. In the Metaverse gastronomy has begun to enter little by little, and it is not excluded that what we have seen in that chapter could come true.
