The General Military Academy of Zaragoza follows a mandatory protocol regarding the uniformity and outward appearance of the cadet men and women trained there. For this reason, and according to the institution’s internal regulations, “the gentlemen and ladies of the cadets of the General Military Academy must wear the uniform properly and correctly by wearing the garments and wearing the emblems, badges, insignia, and official decorations on every occasion” required and what it is entitled to.
It should be noted that the Academy’s students receive the necessary uniforms and equipment free of charge. In fact, “they must only wear uniform garments whose physical and design characteristics have been approved by the regulations in force, and they must also wear all garments correctly buttoned or closed.”
Regarding appearance, the regulations of “La General” clarify that “particular emphasis is placed on compliance with regulations on hair, beards, mustaches, goatees, nails, accessories, and tattoos, as well as rings, perforations, and spikes.” Insertions and self-mutilations appear in the internal regime of the General Military Academy,” according to the regulations in force in the army.
Cadet Knights and Dames are obliged to comply with these Conditions throughout their training. In particular, the regulations provide that tattoos are not allowed.
