The UN has condemned the extrajudicial executions carried out by Israel at a hospital in Jenin

The Israeli army argued that the dead were planning to carry out terrorist attacks in Israel soon, so “they were neutralized.”

Israel’s operation on Tuesday at Ibn Sina Hospital in the West Bank city of Jenin, where soldiers disguised as civilians and medical personnel killed three Palestinian militiamen, “points to a planned extrajudicial execution,” according to the Office of the United Nations for Human Rights.

Officially, the fighting in Gaza started on October 7.

The organization emphasized that among the three dead was an 18-year-old young man, semi-paralyzed by injuries sustained in an air attack in Jenin (north of the West Bank) and lying in one of the hospital beds when he was shot in the head.

The Israeli army argued that the dead were planning to carry out terrorist attacks in Israel soon, so “they were neutralized.”

In its daily report on the conflict, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs reiterated the difficulties in sending aid to Gaza, especially in the northern half of the strip, where Israeli authorities have denied access to 29 of the 51 missions planned this January.

It also recalls that since December 1, after a week of ceasefire, the Israeli authorities have issued evacuation orders affecting 158 square kilometers of Gaza, or 41% of the area of the strip.

The report emphasized that the clashes in the last 24 hours were mainly concentrated in the town of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, where fighting took place around the Nasser and Al Amal hospitals.
