The union of Audi Mexico asked to continue the salary negotiations Grupo Milenio

The Independent Union of Audi Workers (take a look) asked the company to continue negotiations to end the strike and restore production at the plant located in San José, Chiapa.

Through a statement, Sitaudi appealed to the owner of the German ship Set a date, time, and even place so that these talks can continue and reach an agreement that will benefit both parties.

In addition, the union said that it intends to continue within the framework of loyalty in these negotiations to finally be able to end the strike and is waiting for a response from the company.

We must remember that last Friday, 81.3 percent of the workers rejected the salary increase the company suggested, as they were offered a seven percent overall raise.

And at that time, there were 3,139 workers against the increase, while only 632 approved it, a situation that caused the strike to continue at the moment.

The strike continued for 19 days and began to worry the workers

This Monday, the strike completed 19 days, during which the workers did not receive a single peso of their wages because the production lines were stopped.

This situation has created uncertainty in a sector of the labor base because they do not know how long they will not receive their salary, and the strike was not thought of because employees are not careful.

In addition to salary increases and benefits, the company’s final proposal included paying half of the days they were on strike, but the agreement was not approved.

The strike broke out on January 24, and since then there has been a proposal to end it, but the workers rejected it, so the union and company had to renegotiate again to present a new proposal to the employees and vote. – again.
