Taxpayers in the United States still have time to file their state taxes in 2022. In return, they may be eligible for a tax refund of up to USD 400.00. What is required to qualify for this direct payment? Here we tell you.
The financial assistance can be in two main ways, one of which is through the payment of USD 200.00 and the other is through the limit of USD 400.00. In this case, the eligible residents are from the state of Virginia. To qualify for this tax refund, the tax return must be submitted before the deadline, November 1.
The distribution of fees is as follows. Refunds ofUSD 200.00D will go to individual tax filers. On the other hand, those who do it together will receive financial assistance of USD 400.00.
On the subject, the Virginia Department of Taxation reports that it has not yet established a schedule to implement the refunds. How the taxpayer’s eligibility will be determined will also be announced within a few days.
Annual budget
The aforementioned tax refund was approved from the annual budget of the state of Virginia. Governor Glenn Youngkin himself signed the law in September. The executive reminded its residents that they still have time to file their taxes and qualify for this direct payment.
“As Virginians continue to deal with inflation and high prices, these refunds are an important step in time for the holiday season. “This will help conserve more of your hard-earned gas money, groceries, and important things,” emphasized the governor.
“My administration has delivered more than $5 billion in tax dollars to Virginians. We remain committed to lowering the cost of living for Virginia’s working families and veterans. This is their money, not the government’s,” Youngkin explained. By 2022, Virginia taxpayers could get a direct payment of up toUSD 500.00D.
