Caracas.- The National Assembly (AN) approved this Thursday by a qualified majority an agreement to support the Great Venezuela Women Mission, an initiative created on October 25 by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, for justice and women’s equality. women, and other vertices.
The project was presented by representative Niloha Delgado by the provisions of Article 111 of the Internal and Debate Regulations of the AN, where she emphasized that the Great Venezuela Women Mission promotes the push of the National Executive to continue guaranteeing and strengthening the rights of those women, with concrete answers.

“President Nicolás Maduro continues to listen to women in their most felt needs, continues to be with us in our struggles at this time, and continues to build a homeland with us. contributed to all the space where we need to improve; we have shown it since the giant Hugo Chávez opened the door for us,” he said.
Likewise, he emphasized the AN fight to promote timely gender justice as one of the points raised by the head of state, Nicolás Maduro.
The agreement considers supporting the creation of the Great Venezuela Women Mission in favor of continuing to strengthen policies, plans, and development programs, protecting and guaranteeing the rights of Venezuelan women, and ensuring their protagonism in other parts of society.
Likewise, continue the development of legislative policies in favor of vindicating the historical role of Venezuelan women in society and promoting feminist struggles aimed at protecting their rights and destroying the patriarchal system.
Finally, publish the agreement in the Official Gazette of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
