In Pontevedra, interventions will continue along the banks of the AG-46, which connects Moaña and Cangas; and the high-performance roads VG-4.6, which connect the towns of Cangas and Bueu, and which connect Carril and Baión (VG-4.7.).
Biomass control
These tasks are outlined in the new contract with the public company Seaga for the control of biomass on the sides of the roads in the region, which represents an investment of almost € 3 million for the next two years.
The actions consist of the clearing of vegetation in the public domain area of regional roads, as well as the conditioning of green areas on pedestrian paths and roundabouts and the replacement or repair of elements of the perimeter fencing the roads.
The Xunta, with this program, continues to intensify its actions to prevent the risk of fires and contribute to strengthening road safety by increasing visibility and actions to facilitate the travel of workers and cyclists .
