The parents of Leslie Alejandra Cortéz Torres, a nursing student who was reported missing, confirmed this Thursday that the body found in a clandestine grave in the city of Matamoros, Tamaulipas, is that of their daughter.

Leslie was a 21-year-old girl who was studying at a nursing school in the city of Matamoros and disappeared on May 11 when she left her home in a Nissan Versa American vehicle.
In the conversation, she mentioned that she was seeing her ex-boyfriend to collect money, since apparently she was going to have some tests because she was pregnant.
When the parents saw that she had not returned, they decided to file a complaint and asked the residents of that neighboring city for help in locating her.

After days they found her abandoned car and finally, on May 19, they managed to place her in a grave in the distance that leads to the ejido south of the city of Santa Adelaida.
