Gathering around the Thanksgiving table is a tradition for many, but restaurants will be open throughout Butte County for those unwilling to do the dishes.
The Cozy Diner, 1695 Mangrove Ave., will be open from 7 am to 6 pm with a full menu and gala dinner for lunch and takeaway. Turkey and ham are on the menu.
Denny’s Restaurant, located at 675 Manzanita Ave., will maintain its 24-hour cuisine as usual until lunchtime at the restaurant. Turkey is on the regular menu, but there will be a festive choice too.
Ginger’s, 2201 Pillsbury Road, will be open from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm with a regular menu but takeaway only.
Kalico Kitchen, 2396 The Esplanade, will serve turkey, ham and regular dinner menus. Its opening hours are from 7 am to 3 pm, with lunch and takeaway.
Cornucopia will be open until 4:00 pm with a special Thanksgiving menu for dinner or takeaway. The restaurant at 515 Montgomery St. will open on Friday at 11:00.
Denny’s Restaurant at 2470 Oro Dam Blvd. will open on Thanksgiving with a full menu for dinner, takeaway and delivery. This is a 24-hour restaurant.
The Cow Café, 935 Oro Dam Blvd., will be open from 6 am to 3 pm for regular menus and specialties. Takeaway food and drinks are available.
Feather Falls Casino, 3 Alverda Drive, will be open from 11:00 to 20:00 for dinner only. Thanksgiving buffet will be organized.
The Gold Country Casino, 4020 Olive Highway, will open Agave Cantina and Grill from 4 pm to 10 pm with à la carte service.
In the other place
Rolling Hills Casino restaurants, 2655 Everett Freeman Way, Corning, will be open during regular hours, but a special Thanksgiving meal will be served at the event center from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Reservations are required for groups of 10 or more, 530-528-3500.
