Omar Luis Daer, former lawyer of Carlos Menem and father-in-law of the mayor of Quilmes, Mayra Mendoza, was found today at her home located in Barrio Parque de Bernal, in the Buenos Aires town of Quilmes, shot in the throat. At first, Daer was taken to the Municipal Hospital of Quilmes and due to the complexity of the wound on his neck, he was transferred to the high complexity hospital El Cruce, in Florencio Varela, where he is currently hospitalized.

According to police information accessed by this medium, Daer’s wife, María Cecilia Attolini, said that everything happened after a discussion. The first data indicates that the 66-year-old lawyer went to his room and after a few minutes, the shot was heard.
