This Wednesday, staff from the Oaxaca Attorney General’s Office (FGEO) conducted a search of the offices of the Mobility Secretariat (Semovi). Meanwhile, in front of the agency, authorities arrested manager Alejandro ZM on Tuesday afternoon and accused him of forging documents.
Just before midday, there was a heavy police operation from the State Investigation Agency (AEI) led by FGEO head Bernardo Alamilla and AEI coordinator Jaciel Salvador Vásquez Castro. It was held in the building where Semovi is located, at 25 Carlos Gracida Street, the former Hacienda Candiani.
“The aim was to search for evidence of a probable forgery of documents, in which elements of the AEI, ministries, and experts were involved,” reported a police command.
The search was carried out in coordination with the officials of this facility.
Through intelligence work, prosecutors managed to establish a line of investigation regarding the alleged issuance of false driver’s licenses by people posing as vehicle managers, which initially enabled the arrest of 48-year-old Alejandro ZM, a neighbor and local of Zimatlán de Lvarez, who before Semovi had a business.
Against this background and as the investigation progressed, officials from the Ministry of State and experts from various industries and parts of the AEI carried out the search warrant.
In this context, the authority secured the IT equipment and documentation for the expert opinion in addition to the person’s introduction, which will be the subject of the survey in this case.
