A video shows several agents taking action against a group of migrants who hoisted the Venezuelan flag.
United States Border Patrol officers opened fire on a group of Venezuelans who were trying to enter Texas irregularly between Ciudad Juárez and El Paso.
A video was captured of the migrants running away seconds before unfurling the Venezuelan flag in front of US agents off the coast of the Rio Grande.
In the recording, two officers are seen pointing their weapons and detonating at least three against the people gathered there.
It was reported that the Border Patrol told them that “crowd control projectiles” were used in the operation.
In another video released by Azteca TV journalist, Reynaldo Lara, it can be seen how agents continued shooting even after migrants, including several women, returned to Mexican territory.
