From the company, it is explained that “this is a scheduled event of an oil leak in one of the transformers, “primary tasks, and work where a specific treatment machine is used for that task.”.
The fire “supposedly originated from the said filtration machine and later affected other facilities,” they showed.
According to Edesur, “there are still 13,200 customers without supply, indicating that 80% have recovered service.”

A fire that changed Caballito
The Edesur substation caught fire this Saturday in the early afternoon in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Caballito.
