This could not be done otherwise, and we are talking about the parents of Final Fantasy, a franchise that revolves around the genre in time, and which has given us, over the years, some of the best RPGs in history. Clearly, in recent years, this company has been marked by bringing back to life some outstanding successes, most of them belonging to the genre that provided them with success at the time. In this upcoming release, the production manager Naoki Yoshida gave several interviews, in which he left us various titles, because he gave us many details about the game. In the same way, we have also known some curious beliefs, such as we will explain below.
A term that can be accepted
Specifically, in an interview with Yoshida for the famous YouTube channel Expertise Up (you will find the video in question below), this Japanese developer explained how the term “JRPG” can be distinguished.
To be specific, he explains how in the past, this term used to indicate that certain games were developed in Japan, and therefore could be worse than Western versions of the game. In this way, it is quite common for Yoshida to see this term as a discriminator.
And so he determines that he knows that today is not put in this sense, but rather on the contrary, but he continues to have a very negative memory of this time, and therefore he does not want to listen.
