Cadereyta will host the National Sports Angling Championships, which will be held from 3 to 5 June at the Zimapán Dam, where a state selection will be held in advance.
The presentation of what this national fair will be was given by Sergio Sánchez López of the Querétaro Sport Fishermen’s Association, Leonardo Vargas Reséndiz Director of Tourism of Cadereyta de Montes, Luis Miguel García and Juliette Rojo Hernández on behalf of the Secretary of Tourism.
The authorities and organizers of this event, have announced the prize at which this national fair will be held, the State Elections will be held this weekend, expecting a good turnout of athletes from Queretaro.
In this national competition, the participation of more than 300 fishermen from across the country is expected, who will be looking for their pass to the Pan-American event of the specialty, which will be held in the United States in 2023, so a very intense competition is expected.
Sergio Sánchez announced that before this national, a state election will be held on 2 and 3 April at the same Zimapán dam in Tzibanza, from which the teams that will participate in the national will emerge, with the emphasis that they are expected to a total of 10 teams, of two members each, reiterating that those who were part of the selection will also participate in this event.
The Association of Our Entity seeks to encourage Queretanos to participate in national and international tournaments, to preserve the environment and species of our state.
