On the weekend of September 23rd and 24th, La Rural de Palermo will host the SIN TACC gastronomic festival, exclusively dedicated to people who cannot tolerate gluten and who find a better quality of life in a new diet based on sustainable and healthy foods.
Admission will be free. According to the organizers, interested parties can visit catering stands and food trucks as well as a farmers’ market. In addition, cooking courses have been announced that will be carried out exclusively with products suitable for celiac disease.
According to the findings, the gastronomic festival will have the same characteristics as other major gastronomic festivals that were held in Buenos Aires at the time, but with one peculiarity: all the dishes and products offered will be suitable for celiacs.
The fair is the first meeting specifically designed to allow celiac disease sufferers – people with an intolerance to wheat, oats, barley and rye (TACC) – to enjoy the greatest possible number of gluten-free gastronomic offerings that can be offered together in one place .
The first edition of the SIN TACC trade fair will cover three sectors:
The offer is carried out by restaurants and chefs who have proven experience in preparing gluten-free dishes. You can taste pizza, crepes and paella, fried meat, Latin American cuisine, fried chicken, hamburgers, choripane, ice cream, homemade pastries and various desserts. Also beer, wine and cocktails. You can purchase all kinds of gluten-free products at promotional prices at more than 25 stalls from various manufacturers in the country. And you will also find products such as pasta, delicatessen, infusions and baked goods, snacks, agricultural products, sausages, flours and patisserie.
