Two calculations by two different minds agree on the date on which the end of the world is recorded. A supercomputer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Bill Gates know when the apocalypse will happen. Do we have time to do something?
The motives of both powerful minds are the same: humanity’s dealings with the planet will take its toll much sooner than we thought.
According to reports from the NOAA observatory in Hawaii, USA, Bill Gates has warned that we have until 2050 to eliminate 51,000 million tons of greenhouse gases. Otherwise the process will be irreversible and much of the world will become uninhabitable: “It may be irreversible if we are late.”
Carbon dioxide (CO2) has reached alarming levels in the atmosphere, exceeding pre-industrial revolution levels by 50%. This exponential increase in emissions is causing unexpected changes on our planet, threatening both agriculture and livestock.

The same date is the one that the “Big Think” supercomputer, the most powerful in Australia, puts in its records.
The prediction made by the supercomputer was made thanks to the system called World One, which determined that by the year 2020, humanity would reach a point of no return that would lead to its extinction.
According to Big Think, life on Earth will only last until the years 2040 and 2050 if human civilization does not take environmentally friendly measures. This is alarming as we are talking about only a few years.
