Tim Beach may have been denied the Butte Creek Men’s Club Championship title last year, losing to Brian Jones, but not this year. Beach earned his fifth championship by defeating Landon Williams in a championship match. Beach had defeated Ben Pollock in his semi-final match. Williams defeated Steve Christoffel in his semifinal match. Christoffel defeated Pollock to win the consolation match to finish third.
Bill Kyle won the nets division by defeating Bob Lekinger in the championship match. Kyle defeated Chad Parker to reach the finals. Lekinger defeated Derek Minetti in his semi-final match to reach the championship match. Parker emerged victorious over Minetti in the consolation match to finish third.
Butte Creek Women’s Golf Club played a four-person scramble format for its Halloween Trick or Treat tournament. Vicki Elsaceer, Sherian Hornbeck, Joy Smith and Suzy Mann were in first place at 56.95. In second place was Debbie Maderos, Jenny Lowe, Paula Rich and Tammy Blufsky, a team of 58.95.

The Canyon Senior Men’s Club played a four-man “best of net 36” for their monthly senior sweep tournament. 1. Canyon Oaks Women’s Golf Club counted one best ball on par 3 and par 5 holes and two best balls on par 4 in their weekly game. Shelley Carney was low grosser overall with a score of 85. On the low net 71 was Vicki Spelts. The first place was the team of the Spelts, Pat Radisich, Kathy Edgar and Linda Alworth.
