Alliance formed for petty interests will break with time: UML President Olick
CPN-UML president KP Oli has said that his party need not make efforts to break the existing five-party alliance as over time the alliance formed for smaller interests breaks down.
Addressing the Bagmati province-level orientation program organized by UML for its workers on Wednesday, President Oli said no outside effort was needed to break the ruling alliance.
He said, ‘Everyone says, let’s break this alliance. But I say ‘no’, this alliance will break on its own. Because it is an alliance made for selfishness. It will break itself down over time,” he said.
Unified Socialist Chair Nepal instructs cadres not to depend on coalition alone

According to CAN sources, Pubudu resigned from the post citing personal reasons.

Less than two hours after the Nepalese national cricket team’s resignation was announced as head coach, Pubudu Dasanayake has been appointed Canada’s coach.
Cricket Canada has made public the information about his appointment as coach through social media.
391 new cases of corona virus have been reported in Nepal in the last 24 hours
A total of 391 new cases of coronavirus were reported in Nepal in the last 24 hours till Wednesday.
Of the confirmed cases, 340 were detected by RT-PCR method and 51 by antigen method.

NC President Deuba appointed Chitralekha as party’s chief whip
Nepali Congress (NC) Parliamentary Party leader Sher Bahadur Deuba has appointed Chitralekha Yadav as the chief whip of the NC party and Min Bishwakarma as the whip.
An NC source said Deuba appointed him on Wednesday.
Earlier, Bal Krishna Khand was the chief whip of Nepali Congress.
