10. Katie Price rushed to hospital after ‘drink-drive’ accident near Partridge Green
Katie Price has reportedly been taken to hospital after a “drink-drive” accident that could see her face prison.
The Brighton-born celebrity, who is deemed banned from driving, is said to have been in hospital after an accident on the B2135 near Partridge Green on Tuesday, 28 September.
According to The Sun, police arrested the 43-year-old reality star for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.

9. Kovid: Holidays will start in May with traffic light system
It is reported that the prime minister is set to move forward for foreign holidays as part of a new traffic light system for travelers.
Countries will be assessed according to their vaccination schedules, infection rates and the size of known types before being given the “green light” for travel.
According to MailOnline, the system means Boris Johnson is set to resume holidays abroad from May 17.

8. Brighton couple move into their Horsebox home, which they built from scratch
An enterprising couple have turned a horsebox into a stylish home—completely from scratch.
Faced with the struggle of saving for a mortgage while paying high rents in Brighton, Sophie Frickfors and Lolly Castiglione decide to look at alternative forms of life.
The creative pair had previously been thinking about buying a property in the city, but decided there was little appeal in being tied down with a mortgage and a huge debt.

7. Giant ‘prehistoric’ seagull poses ‘no threat’ to small dogs
A WILDLIFE rescue expert has told dog owners that they have nothing to fear after a giant seagull was seen eating a pigeon.
Roger Musseley, who runs Rogers Wildlife Rescue in Woodingdean, said the “prehistoric” black-backed gull that was filmed eating a pigeon at a children’s playground “isn’t as bad a threat as some people think”.
In a video taken on Wednesday, May 5, the large bird can be seen swallowing the pigeon whole before picking it up.

6. ‘Killer Whale’ Spotted Off Brighton Coast
Wildlife experts are excited after a possible killer whale sighting was reported off the coast of Brighton.
The Sussex Dolphins Project believe a pod of female orcas was sighted in Telscombe just after noon on Thursday.
Viewer Grant Winter saw four to six elusive creatures headed west towards Brighton.

5. Four-day Bank Holiday Weekend to mark the Platinum Jubilee of the Queen
There will be an additional bank holiday to mark the Platinum Jubilee of the Queen.
The nation will be able to come together and celebrate the emperor’s 70 years of rule during the four-day weekend.
The May Bank Holiday Weekend in 2022 will be moved to Thursday, June 2, and Her Majesty will have an additional bank holiday on Friday, June 3 to mark this milestone.

4. Michelle Spicer evicted from the beach cottage in Goring near Worthing
A woman is angry after being kicked out of a beach hut following several complaints – the council has evicted someone from the beach for the first time in 25 years.
Michelle Spicer only bought her beach cottage in Goring last year, but council has already taken action, changing locks to prevent a return to Sea Place.
The actress and model said she spent hours restoring her “mermaid shelter”, only to have a dispute with neighbors over parking, which led to complaints of “anti-social behaviour”.

These photos show a Brighton beach, as thousands of people were in the middle of a nationwide heatwave in 25C.
Swimmers, sunbathers and cliff jumpers all landed on the seashore yesterday, days before the so-called “Independence Day”.
Photos taken from the seaside on Saturday revealed the scale of the crowd gathered to enjoy the sun, as people across the city baked in the sun.
