Brazilian football is in mourning after a bus carrying fans of the club this Sunday was involved in a traffic accident that later reported a total of seven dead and 27 injured. The Environmental Emergencies and Disaster Relief Battalion of the Fire Department of Minas Gerais confirmed that they were on-site to help those affected.
The accident happened at kilometer 525 of the national road, Fernao Dias, in the greater area of Belize Horizons. According to survivors, the bus driver warned passengers that he had lost his brakes and, shortly afterward, collided with a road divider, after which the truck overturned and the fans died.
