The Superior Court of Justice of Andalusia (TSJA) approved sentences of between 27 years and nine months and 23 years and three months for three people convicted by a popular jury of in the shooting of a young man in February. three other people, a farmhouse located in the municipality of Arenas del Rey (Granada), in search of a marijuana plantation, although he increased the compensation that must be paid by those convicted to the relatives of the deceased victim.
This was stated in the decision of the TSJA, consulted by Europa Press, after the popular jury declared the three defendants guilty of one crime of completed murder and another attempted murder – because someone else was shot but not dead.-, pointed out in his judgment that the three acted “in a coordinated manner and according to a previously established plan.”
The sentence handed down by the Second Section of the Provincial Court of Granada, shows that the two convicted persons, the owner and the guard of the property, guilty of a crime of murder, were sentenced to 17 years and six months. imprisonment, and on probation, another nine years. The woman, wife of the first, was sentenced to fifteen years and three months for the first crime, “estimating her small causal contribution to the death” and eight years for the second.
The judge sentenced them both, who were also guilty of illegal possession of weapons, to a sentence of one year and three months in prison each for this crime. “When committing none of the crimes mentioned in the previous grounds, there are circumstances that change the criminal responsibility, except for treachery inherent in the crime of murder,” specified the sentence.
