Surviving band membersDSnyder, JJ French, Eddie Ojeda and Mark Mendozathey had support mike portnoy to drum”You Can’t Stop Rock ‘n’ Roll”, “Under the Blade” and “We’re Not Gonna Take It”.
Portnoy and Steve Vai were in charge of presenting the band at the time of their induction into the Metal Hall of Fame, which is celebrating its sixth edition.

Fenech previously claimed that the reunion did not mean a permanent return for the band (via blabbermouth.net,
“There’s no meeting to talk about“, Told. “I’m not going to be cynical and say that this can’t lead to talks, but we’ve never had any talks about reuniting before. Not even one”.
“People always say, ‘When are you guys going to get back together?’ I’m like, ‘Well, we talk all the time, but we never talk about playing. But we talk about business.’Jai Jai added. “Why are we talking about the business? Because ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It’ and ‘I Wanna Rock’ are the most licensed songs in the history of the music business; they’re in TV commercials, movie soundtracks… . So we sign licensing deals all day. That’s really what we do. I’m in the music licensing business, which is a business I didn’t know existed.”
In March 2015, the band’s drummer AJ Pero died of a heart attack. A month later, the group announced plans to offer their final tour, dubbed “Fuck Forty More”with Portnoy sitting in on drums.
Twisted Sister achieved their biggest success with the album ‘stay Hungry‘ from 1984, which included the hit “We’re Not Gonna Take It” and “I Wanna Rock“, which also made the group star in an MTV music video. The album was certified triple platinum in the United States.
The guitarist also inducted into the 2023 edition of the Metal Hall of Fame Chris Impellitory, Raven and crossover singer/soloist Lou Gramm.
