New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has decided to start the interview process for the 2020 Civil Service Examination from August 2, which has been postponed due to the increase the number of COVID-19 cases. The Civil Service Examination is conducted by UPSC in three phases to select officers from the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS). The commission had postponed the talks for this prestigious examination to April this year due to the increase in cases of the corona virus. “After examining the situation, the Commission has decided to start the process of the personality test for the 2020 civil service examination from August 2, 2021,” said a statement released by UPSC.

He said the electronic interview invitation letters would be available soon and could be downloaded from the committee’s website. The results of the primary examination were declared on March 23 of this year and April 26 was set for the start of the interview process, but were postponed as a precautionary measure given the increase in coronavirus cases. .
