The US Justice Department has filed a lawsuit against tech giant Google for a monopoly in the advertising sector, and is asking a Virginia court to force the company to divest part of its advertising business. The lawsuit is being led by the Justice Department, although the states of Virginia, California, Colorado, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Tennessee have joined.
