USC renews men’s basketball coach Andy Anfield’s contract until 2025-2026

USC men’s basketball coach Andy Anfield has renewed his contract for the 2025–2026 season, the university’s sports department confirmed in a statement on Friday.

The statement said that Enfield’s expansion came after the Trojans hit Elite Eight last season, although news of a deal between the coach and the school did not emerge until Friday.

Financial details of the renewal were not disclosed. Anfield’s previous contract was reported to expire after the 2022-23 season.

Anfield joined USC after the romp Sweet 16 on Florida’s Gulf Coast in 2013. The Trojans finished last in Pac-12 in their first two seasons in Los Angeles, but competed in the NCAA tournament for the next two seasons and were rejected by the Trojans. committee in 2017-2018, despite the second place at the conference.
