Moderna, an American company that produces the corona vaccine, rejected a request from the government of Punjab to purchase the vaccine. The information was given on Sunday by Nodal Officer Vikas Garg. Garg said Moderna refused to send the vaccine to the state government, citing its policy.
The company cannot deal with state government or private parties
Moderna said the company could only deal with the central government. The company cannot enter into agreements with any state government or private parties. Less than 44 lakh doses received from Indian government
