Through an Official Communiqué, Venezuela rejected the warlike statements issued by the President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, Irfaan Ali, during a media show held on Friday, October 27, in the territory of Guyana Essequiba.
The information was announced by the Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil through a publication on his social network account “X” where he repeated that Venezuela called for diplomatic dialogue.

In the letter, Venezuela criticized President Ali showed behavior contrary to the commitments assumed in the Geneva Agreement of 1966, which defined the route to be followed to resolve the territorial dispute between Guyana and Venezuela.
